SMILE AFRICA provides $750 scholarships for girls 12 – 18 years old; giving a student three years of free education in music/arts. Scholarships are renewable for girls who excel and wish to continue for another three-year term to complete high school. With this holistic scholarship, a girl can now gain the confidence and dream of one day becoming a professional artist, author, educator or a politician (or anything else for that matter) and be part of development in her community. All things become possible through learning.
